CSE-Seprol's telemetry product family of SERIOL controllers are available in three ranges
S250 Programmable Telemetry Controller (PTC)
Based on the tried and proven technology of the Seriol S500 programmable telemetry controller, the S250 provides a small and exceptionally low cost telemetry outstation. With a standard
input/output capability of 8 digital inputs, 4 digital outputs you can now access remote data without high costs.
Interfaces for PSTN, GSM, Ethernet, RS232 and RS428/85 enable access over a wide variety of communications media.
There is no compromise in specification with isolated plant an
communication inputs and outputs as standard. With an ambient operating
temperature range of -10°C to 80°C the unit is suitable
for industrial environments. The S250 retains the robust environment
features of the S500. Packaged in an IP30 steel enclosure the S250
is only 250mm x 195mm x 95mm and is suitable for mounting in control
cubicles on IP66 secondary enclosure.
S500 Programmable Telemetry Controller (PTC)
A state of the art family of intelligent modular outstations. Up to 128 I/O can be handled in one 8 slot unit with multiple communications options and a networked expansion facility
permitting units to be grouped according to your application requirements.
Communications interfaces are isolated to minimise the risk of problems caused by earth loops and differing earth potentials. Plant input modules are isolated for interfacing to conventional
digital and analogue process control and automation signals. A specialist range of non-isolated modules is also available for interfacing to specific transducers in low power applications.
The IP30 packaged outstations can operate from -10C to +80C ambient without performance loss. A range of standard secondary enclosures are available to provide environmental protection
to IP67.
S1000 Remote
Terminal Unit (RTU)
Rugged modular Remote Terminal Unit for rack or back-plate mounting. Designed for large conventional digital and analogue inputs and output systems of up to 2500 channels. Plant interfaces
are via DIN rail mounted screw clamp termination assemblies connected to the controller with IDC cables for easy, simple panel layout and assembly.
With up to 256KB of user memory and three serial links the S1000 supports local, Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) , Private Wire (PW), Leased Line (LL) and radio communications.
All plant inputs and outputs are isolated.
Application Configuration Tool
The SERIOL family of telemetry controllers, unlike many of our competitors products is programmable locally or remotely. The thought of programming a telemetry
unit may be enough to dissuade many users who can see the benefits of using telemetry but do not want to become involved in programming.
One alterative is to use a dedicated, preprogrammed telemetry device with limited functionality.
Our solution, with no understanding of programming required, is the SERIOL-PACK range of software products for use on our Seriol Programmable Telemetry Controllers (PTC).

Sercal and Sergraf
Sercal
Common type programming language for all SERIOL products. Supports boolean, flowchart and sequence programming, integer and floating point arithmetic and special functions for data
handling and process control. Online upload and download of programs, data and I/O. Programs are prepared on an IBM PC compatible.
SerGraf-1131
Developed to take advantage of the S500 high performance processor, SerGraf-1131 offers 5 programming languages to IEC-1131-3 standards. This is a full development diagnostic tool with comprehensive project tracking and simulation facilities.

CSE-Seprol support includes full documentation, customer training program, parts and repair service. Our support team provides telephone support, advice
and additional documentation services.
In addition to our normal warranty service CSE-Seprol offer enhanced warranty which provides for guaranteed spares and five working day repair/replacement service for the operational
life of the customers installed base.
Product Revision Information
Any product throughout its life will continue to be improved and this is certainly the case with firmware and software with new features and facilities
being added regularly. To keep our users informed on product updates, information of our engineering change notes are posted to the Internet and are accessible through the World Wide

Product Sales
Getting the product to our customers promptly is an essential part of ensuring customer satisfaction. The SERIOL family of products
is modular so it lends itself easily to standard or custom configurations (very similar to making up a PC).
Stock availability is monitored and controlled by a networked Stock Control, Sales Order Processing, Works Order Processing, Bill of Material and Material Requirements Planning system
at our Eckington location.
Small quantities of our standard product are available ex-stock (2 weeks for a configured unit including soak test). For larger quantities or units in secondary enclosures the lead
time is 6-8 weeks and we would be pleased to discuss your requirements and provide you with a formal quotation.
Once we have contracted with the customer a delivery date we aim to meet our commitment of never letting a customer down on delivery.
Since 1st December 1997 we have never been late on a contracted despatch for our telemetry products.
Should it ever be the case that we cannot meet the despatch date then we will contact you to advise you of the situation and agree alternative dates. We will not just ignore you and wait for you to contact us.
