The S500 is one of the family of telemetry outstations available from CSE-Seprol in Sheffield.

With its truly flexible I/O configuration and IEC 1131 programming capabilities it offers much of the functionality of a conventional PLC but with the added benefits of being able to work in very remote locations.

Having proved itself in the deserts of the Middle East and the rough conditions encountered in the Atlantic Ocean, the S500 is ideal for any application which requires truly remote data acquisition.

Designed and manufactured at CSE-Seprol's UK Headquarters, the S500 offers slots for up to 8 I/O cards, enabling you to choose your exact I/O configuration from the wide range of cards available to suit your own application.

It also has two slots for communications modules which means, depending on the location the unit is situated in, you can select which communications media best suits your requirements.

With a built in LCD display and front panel keypad, the S500 enables full read access to all diagnostic information making the unit easy to maintain.

The unit measures just H25 x W25.3 x D12 cm and is easily panel mounted.

The S500's operating temperature range is -10 øC to +80 øC.

Powered from either 230 / 110 VAC or 10 to 15 VDC with a battery back up facility and low power sleep mode, the S500 can and will continue to operate even after the power on the rest of the site is down, making it ideal for critical monitoring and alarm reporting applications.
