NE Derbyshire MP Natascha Engel recently visited the CSE Servelec Group to discuss the Company’s success and see first hand their rapid growth over the past 12 months.
Natascha Engel visited the CSE Servelec Group last Friday, 8th June, with a view to finding out just what it is that makes this company such a local success story. Whilst meeting with the Group’s Managing Director, Alan Stubbs, Natascha was able to see for herself examples of the good work that the Group has been carrying out.
The NE Derbyshire MP was given a tour of the Group’s headquarters and heard about the history of the Company which has been based in Eckington for 30 years and which currently employs over 240 staff, making it one of the largest businesses in the region.
The Labour MP was brought up to speed with how the Group is progressing by members of the senior management team, including Alan Stubbs and Phillip Court, Director of CSE Seprol.
As part of the CSE Servelec Group, CSE Seprol specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of intelligent programmable controllers and outstations designed for monitoring mission critical situations. So far CSE Seprol has sold over 12000 units in the UK to blue chip firms like the BBC. It also links all the lighthouses around England and helps control the water infrastructure of most of southern England.
The visit included a tour of CSE Seprol’s production facility, where the outstation component parts were shown being manufactured and assembled.
CSE Seprol occupies the same Eckington premises as CSE Servelec and the two companies often share resources in order to achieve the most effective and suitable solutions for their customers.

The varying skills offered by the two companies complement each other and can be combined or used individually to provide the broadest range of options for satisfying customer requirements.
New projects have meant the Group has expanded considerably over the past 12 months, taking on new staff to help them meet demand for their highly specialised technical solutions, improving the range of expertise within the company. |
